This is a list of the builders we recommend for projects. Each has a different specialty, and therefore are not in direct competition with each other. We won’t recommend anyone unless we know that they’ll produce an excellent product and go the extra mile to provide good service. Feel free to browse their websites and read what we have to say about each one of them.

New Construction
“I came to know Josh Rand through his father Guil Rand, who is a good friend of mine and the Architect whom I accredit most all of my training and education in the architectural field. Josh picked up a love for construction early on in his life since he was exposed to it so much by his dad. He has worked on projects ranging from custom residential homes, to the LDS Samoan Temple.
Josh is the person that I recommend for new construction projects. When it comes to a quality built home, I know he picked up a good ethic from his dad. He furthers the type of project that I like to see come together, and doesn’t cut corners. I highly recommend Josh not only because of his quality work, but because I know I can trust my clients in his hands.

Tate Construction & Remodel, LLC
Remodels and Additions

”I’ve worked with Aaron Tate since 2000 and we’ve done many great projects together. He’s always the person that I recommend for my remodel/addition projects because of the confidence that I have in his work. He is timely and his work is of the best quality.

Compared to new construction, remodels/additions are a totally different beast. Often this type of work requires that the workmen perform their labors while the clients and their families are still living in the home. Special attention is needed from the contractor and his subs to minimize the inconveniences placed on the clients. Some projects require design and or engineering changes in the middle of the project because of discovered conditions. You really have to know how to work around what’s there. While many contractors loathe this type of work, Aaron chose to specialize in this particular aspect of construction. He loves the challenge and the variety it offers.”

UBuildIt
Owner-Builder Consultant

”I’ve been really impressed with the concept of UBuildIt and the approach of owner-builder construction. Owner, Trent Rogers, has the perfect company for people who want to build the home themselves, but want a General Contractor as a consultant. Keep in mind that a consulting fee is a lot less than a standard Contractor’s fee.

Banks have often been reluctant to loan money to owner-builders because of uncertainty about the owner's house construction knowledge and skills. With UBuildIt, they know that a licensed Contractor is involved with the project. You get the savings of your own labor and access to the contacts and knowledge of a quality contractor. If you’re looking at an owner-builder situation, I highly recommend Trent Rogers.”
